Create a Bendi- Card by following these easy and wonderful instructions  by Cheryl on YouTube > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMiPKozFUCI

The card was altered by creating a blue cardstock layer 1/4 inch smaller in width and height  than the base card and designer paper layers 1/4 inch smaller in length and height than the base layer.  The designer paper was from the Camelia.  The picture of the bridge was selected from the paper collection and cut with the oval die from the Eyelet Oval and Basics Large Dies.  The eyelet oval mat was cut from blue cardstock.   The oval scene was adhered on the bottom half with Designer Dries clear adhesive and adhered to the card.

The flowers were cut from the Camelia Carnation stamp and cut with the coordinating die.   They were assembled using the Basic Flower Mold.  Final shaping was done with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.   It wasn't needed but I am addicted to it so I use it for everything!    The flowers were colored with the following ink pads - Rose Coral, Rouge and Blue Iris ColorBox Fluid Chalk Inkpads and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink.   The leaves were sponged with Memento Olive Grove.

The flowers were adhered to the card  with a hot glue gun.  The sentiment was cut from the Camelia Carnation Paper Collection.

Thank you for stopping by and check out the new release at Heartfelt Creations!

Heartfelt Creations - You're Beary Sweet

Welcome!

Today is New Release Day for Heartfelt Creations!      We are featuring the Beary Fun Retreat Collection!    I love coloring bears and I was so excited when this release became available!

Quilling tool, Copic Markers (Bear and treehouse - E30, E33, E35, E37, 47, W5, Teapot and small sunflowers- Y11, Y02, YR20, YR23, YR26), Clear Crackle Paint, heat tool, paper trimmer,   craft blade, mounting tape, Memento Dandelion Ink, light weight green and dark brown cardstock.

Create a Bendi- Card by following these easy and wonderful instructions by Bihiana  >  http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/bendifold.  I altered the instructions by using  the Fleur Border Basics Die rather than cutting the interlocking flaps freehand.   Cut layers for the flaps using the Beary Fun Retreat Paper Collection.  Sponge the edges with Tangelo ink.

Stamp the bear and treehouse images from the Happy Time Treehouse Cling Stamp Set.  Stamp the small sunflowers and leaves from the Sunflower Accents Cling Stamp Set.  I added an optional leaf flourish from Classic Rose Collection.   Color the bear and treehouse images with the following Copic Markers (Bear, stool and  treehouse - E30, E33, E35, E37, 47, W5, Teapot and small sunflowers- Y11, Y02, YR20, YR23, YR26, teacup and dish- B000, B00, B20, B21, B24, B26).  Cut the images with the corresponding die.  Sponge the leaves with Tangelo and Bamboo Leaves.  I cut 3-4 layers of the tree, stool and  bear  images out of dark brown cardstock and popped the layers up with mounting tape in between each layer.  Keep the mounting tape narrow so it does not show from the side.  I love the dimension this gives each image.

Stamp the large sunflowers from the Classic Sunflower Stamp Set.  Die Cut with the corresponding die.  Sponge with Dandelion and Tangelo Ink.  Die cut with the corresponding  die.  Gently mist with water and shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Assemble with clear adhesive.  Quill some loose coils from green 1/8 inch cardstock.   Cut some 1/4 inch strips from the  Beary Fun Retreat Paper Collection  and quill  "S" shaped spirals for the card embellishment.

Adhere the treehouse, bear, stool, quilled spirals  and small flowers with Dries Clear Adhesive.   Glue  the large flowers with a glue gun.

Emma Lou has a wonderful tutorial on creating sunflowers  HERE.

I hope you enjoyed this card.   I will be having a video on Sept 24th on how I colored this little bear!   I hope you will tune in, like and comment! :D   Stay tuned!
