One Boo-Tastic Background

mp091714a
 Hello everyone!

I am doing something a little different today.
I usually focus on color combos - but today,
I am excited to share a Boo-Tastic Background using
the Ranger Tim Holtz  Distress Spritzer Tool!

The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black.
A mask was created for the little witch using a post-it note.
The background was created using Copic Alcohol Ink Markers
and the Ranger  Tim Holtz  Distress Spritzer Tool
(It works best if your brush or chisel is juicy!)
Copic Sketch Markers
Background : T10,  YR16
Skin Tones: E000, E00, E11
Hair: T3, T4, T6
Shirt/socks:  YR12, YR16

I hope you enjoyed the mini-tutorial.
If you find you enjoy the spritzer background, you may want to think about up-grading to an airbrush system.
I have one and I love it :D
The spritzer tool  gives a slightly different look -
The airbrush system provides a much smoother coverage.
They are both fun and I am totally addicted.

Have a great day!
See you soon.

Signs of Spring

Hello everyone!  Marie here with a new card for you today.

I know -   it isn't spring but I got a new stamp and I can't wait to share it with you!
As you  may know, Theresa Momber and I had an opportunity to spend a couple days with Patricia, from
Paper Temptress!
I am so excited to share one of the stamp sets I received from Theresa while we were there!

I's Double Monday!
I am using this card for my Dt Challenge at Totally Gorjuss
and my DT post for Paper Temptress!

Our fun challenge  at  Totally Gorjuss  is "Bling"!
I placed some bling in two corners .  :)
That's an easy peasy kind of challenge and I hope to see you there!

My DT post for Paper Temptress shows some of the gorgeous paper
that one can find on Paper Temptress!

Supplies

Ink
Copic Alcohol Ink Markers
Ranger Distress ink - Dandelion
Ranger Distress Ink - Broken China
Memento Tuxedo Black
Copic Opaque White Ink

Paper
Focal image:  Neenah Solar White @ Paper Temptress
Designer - Casual Friday (GKD)
Mat layers - Deep Blue Crepe  Rushe  @ Paper Temptress
Card base: Heavenly White 120# @ Paper Temptress

Aren't the flowers pretty?
I stamped two sets of flowers and fussy cut around them.
I used my McGill molding pad and tools and gently molded the shape.
Pop Dots supported the flowers from the underside.
Doesn't this technique make the flowers look dimensional?
You give it a try :D

Speaking of dimensional -   Although the picture doesn't show it -
The Deep Blue Crepe Rushe paper has the coolest texture and adds to  the  dimensional look.

I am linking this card with the following challenges:
Through the Craft Room Door - Anything Goes
Imaginations Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
 Totally Gorjuss  - Bling!
Sister's of Craft - Anything Goes!

Thank you for stopping by!
Hope you see you soon and have a great day! :D
