Magnolia Time: Tilda With a Gift For You

Mp111413a
\
Hello to all my  friends!   I want to share  a 3-D project I created  using my Silhouette Cameo and  an adorable Magnolia stamp called Tilda with a Gift For You.   Isn’t she just the cutest little thing?
I pulled my Cameo out and decided to create a treat box for a special occasion.   Easy Peasy!    I used a tall box cut file and a leaf frame file.  I also used  the “bunches of leaves”  cut file with the Silhouette.  This was such a breeze!    And now – time to color my little Tilda and  create a fun background!

This is my shape card turned into a rectangle  A-2 card.

Tip for the Day:  I find that using 65 or 80# card stock allows a deeper impression when embossing and is easier obtain a clean cut from my die plates.  I have not pleased with the results when using 120# cad stock.

A Touch of Fall

It has been a good day!  I am still off work since my hospitalization in October but I am not complaining!   Love my Boss and she suggested that I could use another two weeks to get stronger!   That is really a GREAT Boss! :D    The sun is shining and yet there is a crisp touch of Fall in the air!    It has been wonderful to spend time watching the beautiful color changes around  me!

And speaking of Fall -  I want to share my Fall  DT card I created for The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday.   As you may know - it is always "Anything Goes" but for those who want to try the challenge twist - it is to make a "Fall" themed card.   If you participate in the twist - your name will go in the challenge twice!    That means - more chances to win!
