CMC Celebrates Summer Blog Hop


Welcome to a  SPECIAL  Color Me Creative Challenge Blog Hop! 

The Design Team has put together some fabulous creations using Saturated Canary’s  digital images to kick-start the CMC Summer Sale! Starting May 25th thru August 24th all CMC Classes will be on sale and bundled classes will be on special too...see the CMC Classroom for more details! It’s a fabulous time to take advantage of classes and once you sign up you get a full year in each of the classes you register for...but you can also buy them now and SAVE them to start this fall...your 1 year term does not start until you sign into a class.

This is my CMC  card I created using an adorable image from Saturated Canary called Zorana.  I get happy just looking at her barefoot little feet  dancing around with her bells ringing!

 She is fun to work with and offers so many wonderful tips, tricks and techniques that make Copics easy and fun. I started taking Copic classes with Suzanne when she first started her on-line classes.  I also attended her Basic and Intermediate/Advanced On The Road classes when she was in San Jose.  She is just one of those very special people that come along once in a lifetime.   She can teach anyone to color beautifully with Copic Markers.   I have learned so much from  her wonderful classes and from serving on her design team !   I am proud to call her "friend".

The Outlawz: Gilli Cheers on the Home Team!


 Hello to all my friends!  I returned from Maui after midnight yesterday.  I am a little under the weather.   It must have been something I ate. The trip was still wonderful!

I want to  share this card I created using  Cheer Gilli  from AnaRy Designs.   This is my Guest Design Team card for Twisted Thursdays at the Outlawz.   Our challenge is anything goes with a twist: Sports.   I thought this little Gilli cheerleader would be use perfect!   This is a fun and active challenge site you will not want to miss!

The Outlawz-Twisted Thursday: Rainy Days!

Aloha!   Hawaii is just gorgeous!   it is in the 80's here today with gentle winds!   White sands and gorgeous blue-green ocean waves!   I have a couple more days to enjoy this wonderful paradise!  

I was able to find a hot spot for my internet concoction and wanted to post my Guest Design Team card that I created for Twisted Thursday at The Outlawz!   The twist is to use a "rainy" theme!   Hard to do in Hawaii :D  Ya, it's not nice to rub it in!

THCRD: Gilli Is In Hawaii!


LOL!   Oh not Gilli - I guess it is ME that is still in Hawaii.   But in this darling little image called Gilli Bloomers that can found HERE, Gilli is in Hawaii.   She has her little bloomers on and she is rear for the surfing!

Through the Craftroom Door is having a fun challenge.   This is the photo to give you your inspiration!

I used Gilli Bloomers created by AnaRy!   I just love this little image!   I used the gorgeous colors from the photo and added a ribbon to coordinate.   As you already know... (I have been rubbing it in big time) I am in Hawaii and These colors look just like the gorgeous colors I have been seeing in the sunsets!

I quilled this little flower in order to complement the cute little Gilli image - not that it needs it!  Is is just an adorable stand alone!   

I hope you noticed the little zebra bag and shoes.   Here's a secret.  Our fearless leader Suzanne Dean just loves "zebra" designs.   I used shaded the shoes and bag with a C00 and C1 Copic marker.  I then used a 0.03 multiliner from Copic and colored the zebra design.   It is just zee cutest! (I know - bad joke! ) LOL

The Outlawz: A Rose for Mother


Happy Sunday to all my friends!   I want to share my card I created for my Guest Designer The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday Challenge.   The theme for this weeks challenge is  "Anything Goes" and if you choose to add a twist...... "Mother's Day".

I used the  image of a parrot Rose from Flourishes for my card this week.   I just love this image!     I know my mother just loved flowers and I think she would have really loved this card!

I used the Sizzix tim Holtz Tattered Pinecone to create this rose.  I used a quilling tool  to curl the edges to give a more realistic look to the rose.   


I created a 3D envelope to use when I present the card to someone special.   I just use my 3-D envelope if I am going to hand the card to someone.  If I am going to mail this card,  I will place the eD Envelope in a Fed Ex box and mail it so it becomes not only the card but the gift! LOl
