I have been waiting for something special so I could use my new stamp set from Heartfelt Creations!    I used a fun stamp set and die called Sugar Hollow Tree Cling Stamp Set and Die

I cut the tree three times and used pop dots to pop this up for a lot of fun dimension!
Isn't that fun?

II colored the image using my Copic alcohol ink markers.
Love this stamp set and die!

I hope you join us this week at Twisted Thursday!
We would love to see your fabulous creations!

Thank you for joining me!

You Light Up My Life - Sherri Baldy Release January 7, ,2016

Welcome to this weeks post  with a new release by Sherri Baldy at her My Besties Shop .
I used this adorable Bestie Image -  img955.

I want to try some new things this year so for this post, thought I would take one image and see if I cold get a really different look.    I thought it might  be a way to stretch some of those stamps and images.

I colored the first with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers and for my background, I added some muted hearts with watercolor.   I added quilling on top of that.   I combined two types of quilling.....    Shaped rolls and also Chinese Quilling.

When I was in Hawaii, I saw some beautiful quilled cards and the artist created a watercolor background to coordinate with her quilling.   I think I will be trying a lot of that this year...   now you know one of my personal resolutions for the year.   LOL.   This will help with my watercolor, sketching and quilling!

For my second card, I used the same image but created a fireworks background that I learned at a Kit & Clowder Class.  I thought it would make a cute Valentine Day's Card (You light my life) or a great New Years or Fourth of July!

Thank you for stopping by my blog!   I really appreciate it.
I also have been posting some new  YouTube video's on Seasonal Tags and some involve quilling.    I would love for you to check out my YouTube Channel!
Have a wonderful day!
