The layer and embellishment was cut from the fabulous Black Laser Lustre .
I created a watercolor wash with a swirl and punched it with my Epiphany Crafts Round Shaping tool and popped a Round Bubble cap on top when the ink was fully dry.

The bubble cap fit perfect inside my embellishment of Surely Stitched circle.
I added a sentiment to complete my designer card.

Treat your self to a break and check out the gorgeous paper from Paper Temptress.

Texturizing with Colored Pencils

Hello and WELCOME!
Valentine's Day is just around the corner and I love creating Valentine's Day cards.   Here is one of the cards I created using the adorable Bluebell With Friend stamp.   Isn't this  stamp just so cute?
For my mini tutorial for you today - I will demonstrate how I add texture to a colored image using Prisma colored pencils.   This is a technique that is fun and can really add interest to your Copic colored images.
Here is how I did it!

Down by the Seaside

Hello!

I want to share my latest My Besties project with you.
I colored this adorable Mermaid by Sherri Baldy and created an
ocean background to coordinate.

I will show you how I created the bottom of the ocean using beautiful shades of blue glitter.

This is a close up.   I created bubbles and added some sun rays, shining through  the water.

Thank you for stopping by.   I would love for your to give this glitter background a try!
I hope you check back frequently....
We will be having another great YouTube Hop
at my Besties in February.
I will keep you updated!

A Jolly Little Man - Paper From Paper Temptress

Welcome!    I hope everyone had a fantastic Holiday.
I realize Christmas is over but one of my New Years' Resolutions is to create  Christmas cards and projects throughout the year. I am "so over"   being late with holiday  projects… that I have decided to begin my projects early.   Let's see how long that lasts.  LOL

PT122914B
I used some extraordinary paper from The Paper Temptress.... I just have to share this with you!
Take a look at this gorgeous paper!     I picked this  up last time I visited the Paper Temptress.  ALERT:   If she invites you over.... Beware!   You will not leave empty handed!   LOL     This paper is so gorgeous I was afraid to use... it but I guess I can always order more.  LOL
PT122914a
  • I used the Laser Red Glossy Lustre  Cardstock for the Santa's suit and for the base layer.
  • The Laser Black Glossy Lustre cardstock was used for the belt and buckle.
  • The card base was Heavenly White 120#.   I love that weight for my card base and use it exclusively.
  • I used black  Liquid Pearls for Santa's buttons.

You can bet I will create a lot of these for next year!
Thank you for stopping by and  for humoring me with the Holiday card
I created for my County's Children's Party for next year!
Hope to see you soon!
