Heartfelt Creations Alumni Hop! - Blossoming Coneflower

I have a friend whose mother is at a nursing facility. It is always hard to find yourself in a situation like that. I try to send treats and this is the card that will accompany the gift treats for July :) 




I used the flower cling stamp set called Blossoming Coneflower. This pairs with Blossoming Coneflower die. I cut a few extra flower images from dark green cardstock and popped each layer up with small of mounting foam for a LOT of dimension. I think this is one fun and quick way to create a dimensional card. I used the gorgeous paper pack - Backyard Blossoms for the designer paper.

    Marie, I see your artist's eye everywhere I look in this lovely card! The colors blend so beautifully together, and I love the depth you achieved with your frame. So glad you were able to hop with us this month!

    Love the colors you've used on this card. I'm intrigued by the dark layer beneath the flower, sort of like a shadow...nice!

    Lovely! The flower is beautifully colored, and the dark shadow underneath really makes the image pop!
