Fun With Paper Folding

Hello everyone!
We are starting another week!

Here's my latest news!  I am taking a class from Annie's online classroom - Sharon Reinhart teaches a class on paper folding and so you are going to be stuck with some of my cards I create as I practice different folds.

Today, I will share the technique: Basic Triangle.

pt072814a

Paper:
Heavenly White 120# for my card base.
The base layer is Bubblegum Pop Tones 65#
The doily was  Heavenly white 65#
The Medallion is a combination of Bubblegum Pop Tones 65# and
some coordinating designer paper.
Sentiment: calligraphy on Bubblegum Pop Tones 65#

pt072814c

I found that 65# paper worked best for me.
I am very new with this technique!

I will be linking this card with the following challenges:
Crafting From The Heart - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes (Optional twist - sentiment)

Fancy Pants Dreaming: My Besties Project Share

Happy Saturday!

I am off work today and it is time to take my 100# blind adorable pooch to the groomer!   Definitely time!   :D

But before I do that, I want to share my latest My Besties Project Share with you.

I would love it if you would
Listen, Like, Share and Subscribe!  :D

I love this image -  Fancy Pants Dreaming!    She looks like she is just so relaxed in her favorite place -  her gorgeous garden!   Isn't she adorable?

Copic Alcohol Ink Markers Used
Skin Tones E000, E99, E11
Hat/Jeans:  B000, B21, B24
Pot: YR12, YR12, YR20, YR21, YR 23 and aged in corners with BG72
Hair/Boots:  T3, T4, T6, T8
Flowers RV81, RV91, RV95
G21, YG63, G18
Background: Pink/Blue multilines

The focal image edges were sponged with Vintage Photo Distress ink.
The flowers are Cherry Lynn Desigs small Tea Rose
cut from leftover designer paper.
A pearl was added for embellishment

This is an envelope box  I created Using a basic template
from Gina K and altered to fit a 51/2 x 4 1/4 card
that has embellishments.
I like a little extra room so it doesn't get crushed

This is the from of the envelope box.
Sherri is My Besties!

I applied a magnetic attachment on the inside of the upper flap
to secure the lid.
The magnetic pull is too strong on it's own so I punched two
circles that fit perfect over the top of each
magnetic circle.
This dampened the magnetic pull and yet firmly holds the lid.

I am linking this card to the following fabulous challenges:
My Besties UK challenge -  Anything Goes A or if you want, you can enter
the B challenge - Ribbon and Lace! :D
