Create a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch card base with heavy white cardstock.  Cut base layer at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches from Tangelo cardstock.  Select the apricot colored paper from the Classic Wedding Paper Collection and cut at 5 x 5 inches.  The paper was covered with a light coat of Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.  I used my finger to rub it on the paper.  I sprinkled Frosting Powder and heat set.  Apply some Dries Clear glue to the grey/white leaves and lightly sprinkle with Crystal Clear Glitter.    The edges were sponged with Coral Distress Ink  and distressed.  Adhere the layers with double sided tape.

Stamp the Classic Wedding Roses onto X-Press It using Desert Sand in order to give the flowers a "no line" appearance.   Color the image with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers with the following combo - (Flowers - YR0000, YR000, RY21, Leaves- YG99, YG95, HG91, YG67, YG65, YG61, C0, C1).  Apply white colored pencil on the edges of the flower image to lighten the highlights.  Die cut with the Classic Wedding Roses Die.   Cut 3-4 additional images from Tangelo cardstock. Emboss the sentiment from Classic Wedding Wishes on the center of one shadow layer using white embossing powder and heat set.  Layer the shadow layers with foam mounting tape in-between each and place the colored image on top.

Stamp Classic Rose Stamp petals using white embossing powder and heat set.   Lightly sponge the  petals with Coral Distress Ink.  Shape the flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Apply a light coat of Ranger Crackle Paste and sprinkle Frosting Powder and heat set.

Stamp the leaves from the Classic Rose Stamp set on green cardstock with Memento Olive Green Ink.  Sponge with Olive Green ink on the edges  and apply  a small amount of Berrylicious Chalk Ink on a few leaves.  Die cut with the corresponding die.   Shape with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and allow to dry.

Adhere some Gold Gala Glitz to the area that will be near the dimensional flowers using Dries Clear Adhesive - (See reference photo).   Adhere the leaves, flowers and Classic Wedding Rose heart using a glue gun.   Emma Lou has a wonderful video for creating Classic Roses HERE.

Heartfelt Creations - Cupcake Centerpiece for Wedding Guest Table

I love this time of year and always wait to see what the wonderful wedding releases look like.
I wasn't disappointed when Heartfelt Creations released this wonderful Classic Wedding Collection!
I love how the stamps and die on this set can be used for so many different occasions.    I think this will be perfect for a few anniversaries I have on my calendar!

I love having a centerpiece on each guest table.    I love having something for each to take home.   Many people want to simplify the process of sending cake home with the guests.   I decided to create little pie slice boxes that have an insert that hold's a cupcake.   The cupcakes can be made from the same batter as the wedding cake and what a great thing to be able to let the guests slip a pie box out at the end of the evening.   I love to take a little sweet treat home after a wedding celebration!   This is the perfect treat!

Mr. & Mrs. SVG file from svgcuts.com, Pie Slice/Cupcake Box sag file from the Silhouette Studio, silver cardstock, paper trimmer, rhinestones, pearls, Copic Alcohol Ink Markers ( (bells- C0, C1, C3, C4), favor ties, styrofoam, glue gun, tulle ribbon, wire, heat tool, silver embossing powder, satin silver edged ribbon, crackle paint, Versamark.

Assemble the cake pedestal as directed from the SVG file Mr. & Mrs (svgcuts.com).      The pie slice/cupcake boxes were cut  from the Silhouette Studio but I know Cricut has a great pie slice box as well.   Cut eight cake boxes for the first layer. You can cover styrofoam with the wedding designer paper  for the second layer.  You can add additional layers of the pie slice /cupcake boxes  if you have more than eight people at the guest table.

The roses were created with the Classic Rose Collection.   They were stamped on white cardstock with Versamark Ink and silver embossing powder.  Heat Set.   The flowers were sponged with Sweet Plum Memento Ink and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool.  The flowers were assembled and allowed to dry.   A light coat of Crackle Paint was applied and dusted with frosting powder.  The flowers ere heat set.   Emma Lou has a wonderful tutorial on creating roses here - https://www.heartfeltcreations.us/video/129/how-to-create-dimensional-roses

The Classic Wedding Bell set was stamped on X-Press It Blending Cardstock with Versamark Ink and silver embossing powder.   They were colored with Copic Alcohol Markers - C0, C1, C3, C4.  They were die cut with the coordinating die.   I die cut 4 additional  bells from grey paper and layered with dimensional mounting tape in-between each layer.  Designer Dries Clear Adhesive was applied lightly to the bells and were sprinkled with Crystal Clear glitter.

The cake was assembled and embellished with the flowers, rhinestones, pearls, tulle, favor ties and satin silver edged ribbon.

The cake is placed on the wedding guest table.  The pie slice/cupcake boxes contain cupcakes that were made from the wedding cake batter.   Each guest at the table can take one cake slice home at the end of the evening.   If you have more than eight guests per table, you can increase the number of  layers for your centerpiece.   You can create one cake creation for each guest table.  I will be creating this project for some friends that will be getting married next month and will be using the color theme they are using for their wedding.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I would love to see your take on this project!
