TSMP900, Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink Pad
209277,  Embossing Enamel - Aged Ivory

Wine cardstock, ivory cardstock, Versamark, heat tool,  Copic Markers ( Leaves - YG21, YG61, YG63, YG67,  Petals -  YG65, YG67,  RV61, RV63, RV66), glue gun, double sided tape, distress tool, Gold Gala Glitz.

Create a 6 x 7 inch side fold card from ivory paper. Cut wine cardstock at 5 x 6 1/2 inches.

Stamp the Forever Love Background Stamp on the wine cardstock with Versamark and Embossing Enamel - Aged Ivory.   Set with a heat tool.  Distress the edges of the wine cardstock.   Adhere  to the right  side of the card base, leaving a margin as shown.   Apply Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the left side of the card and apply Gala Glitz.    We are out of the Gold but the white or silver would be gorgeous!   Allow to dry.

Stamp the Sun Kissed Fleur Petals on Art Foam Paper.  I used Memento Rhubarb Stalk but StazOn works the best for Art Foam.    The Leaves were stamped using Olive Grove.   The petals and leaves were colored with the following Copic Alcohol Ink - ( Leaves - YG21, YG61, YG63, YG67,  Petals -  YG65, YG67,  RV61, RV63, RV66).   Die cut the images with the coordinating die.   The petals were lightly heated with a  heat tool and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.   Assemble and punched  a small hole in the center with a small tool  and insert the Bright pearl - Medium stamens through the center or each.

Cut the eyelet heart from wine cardstock and two nested hearts from the Heartfelt Love Paper Collection, die using the Eyelet Hearts Die set.  Adhere the flowers and leaves on the hearts as shown with a glue gun.   Create a coordinating dimensional  envelope or  tie a beautiful bow around the card  and it's  ready to give to someone special!

My Future Begins Today

Welcome

As some of you may know, I worked as a registered nurse for 44 years and made the big move to retire at the end of 2017.   My Kaiser friends wanted to have a retirement party for me.  I am shy and resisted for awhile - but on  April 8, 2017 my special day happened, thanks to all my friends!

I would love to share some of the pictures of that special celebration with You!

My future  begins today.....
I plan to love more,
laugh more,
play more
and spend  more precious time
with my family and friends.

I will never forget this day!

Far and away the best prize that life offers....
is the chance to work hard
at work worth doing!   -  Theodore Rosevelt

Lisa Moshiri, my Manager, inspired me to grow and follow my dreams.
She  inspired by her laughter, commitment and dedication!

The upper right flower images were from the Classic Petunia Bouquet and Butterfly Medley  Stamp Sets.    The images were stamped with Desert Sand Memento Ink on X-Press It Blending Cardstock.   and colored with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers (YG61, YG63, HG67, RV01, RV10, RV23, RV63, W5, BV 00, BV04,  BV09,  BG10, BG13, C3, C7).

The violet colored flowers were from the large and small Classic Petunia Stamp Sets.  The petunia's were stamped with a  ColorBox Fluid Chalk -Wisteria.  They were lightly misted with a mini mister and shaped using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  The stamens were Pastel Pearl - small.  They were adhered using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.

The pink roses from the Classic Rose Collection.   It was stamped white cardstock with Memento Rose Bud Ink, sponged with ColorBox Rouge and Rose Coral ink.  They were die cut with the corresponding die.   The flowers were shaped with the 3D Rose Mold.   A small amount of final shaping was applied with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.   The petals were adhered with Dries Clear Adhesive.  A small amount of Ranger Crackle Paint was applied to the petals and lightly sprinkled with  frosting powder. The petals were heat set.

The  Classic Leaf Cling Stamp was stamped with Olive Grove ink on green cardstock multiple times.   They were die cut with the coordinating die.   The edges were sponged with additional coats of Olive Green Ink.   Ranger Crackle Paint was applied lightly to a few leaves and lightly sprinkled with frosting powder.  The leaves were heat set.

Heartfelt Creations - Partial Die Cut Hear

Hello friends!    Today I am using the wonderful Heartfelt Love Collection from Heartfelt Creations.   I used a partial die cut technique.   This technique used your die in a fun, new way!

HCPC-3803, Banner of Love Stamp Set
HCD1-7160, Banner of Love Die Set
HCD1-7162, Eyelet Hearts Die
HCD1-7161, Sweetheart Borders Die
HCDP1-284, Heartfelt Love Paper Collection
HCPP2-452, White Cardstock - 12 x12 in.
532423-Kit, Sizzix Vagabond 2 with Solo Wafer Thin Die Adapter
HCST1-401, Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit
159723, Designer Dries Clear Adhesive
3352854 Metal Tip for Adhesive
173842, Scor-Pal Measuring & Scoring Board
359848, Spellbinders Tool n' One
TSMP900, Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink Pad

Pink cardstock,  X-Press It Blending Cardstock,  mounting tape, Copic Markers (Ribbon - B21, B24, B26, B37, C5, Flowers - Y00, Y11, Y15, Y35,   Leaves- YG11, YG03, YG67)

Cut heavy white cardstock at 5 1/2 inches x 12 inches.  Score at  4 1/4 in and 9 inches.   Draw a light  vertical  line 2 inches from the outer edge of the right flap.  Using the Eyelet Hearts Die, place the center of the larges plain heart die on the line and secure with repositional tape.   Secure the outer portion of the heart on the cutting mat up to the line.   Only the part of the heart that is to be cut should be on the cutting mat.  Allow the rest of the card and die to rest freely from the end without any pressure.  This is called a "partial die cut".   Run the card through the die cutter and then cut the paper vertically on your light pencil line.   This will allow the outer edge of the heart to be a flap over the edge of the card.    Cut a pink layer at 2 1/4 inches x 5 1/4 inches and the designer paper from Heartfelt Love paper collection at 2 x 5 inches.   Adhere to the left flap.      Cut the left pink panel at 2 3/4 inches and adhere to the left flap.    Die cut the Sweetheart Border die on white paper and weed using the Spellbinders Tool n' one.   Trip the left side of the die cut to allow for 1/8 inch border around the inside of the flap.  Apply Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and apply to the left flap on top of the pink layer.

Die cut a pink Eyelet Hearts Die that will nest inside the white heart as shown.  Adhere the pink heart.     Apply Dries clear Adhesive  to the inside of the heart and sprinkle generously with    Mauve Gala Glitz.   Allow to dry.

Stamp the sentiment  using Banner of Love stamp set onto X-Press It paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.   Color the image with the following Copic Alcohol ink - (Ribbon - B21, B24, B26, B37, C5, Flowers - Y00, Y11, Y15, Y35,  Leaves- YG11, YG03, YG67).   You can choose any ink or medium that you prefer.  Die cut with the coordinating die.    Cut 3 additional pink sentiments and adhere the layers with a small strip of mounting tape between each layer. This will add great dimension. Adhere the image with some overlap into the heart.

For a final touch, cut a pink mat at 4 x 5 1/4 inches and a white layer at 3 3/4 x 5 inches and adhere to the inside of the card.  This will add an extra special place to write your message.
