Here is the design team card I created for The Outlawz : Twisted Thursday Challenge.   Yep - it's up and running!   This is one you won't want to miss!   The theme is always - "Anything Goes" and the twist (if you want to add a twist) is "Teddy Bears".  I don't know about you but I just love to color fur and teddy bears have plenty of fun! :D

Challenge reminders -
  • The Twisted Thursday challenge is always  "Anything Goes" which means you can make anything you want such as a scrapbook layout, card, gift tag etc. Each week we will provide a challenge twist that you can use within your creation should you choose to. If you choose to add the twist to your project, your name will go in the drawing twice for a chance to win the monthly Twisted Thursday specific prize.

Anne’s Digital Art. The digi stamp is exclusive to the Twisted Thursday Challenges and will change weekly so get your entries in to receive your free image.

We have Marker Pop who is exclusively sponsoring our TT challenges monthly and a special offer for all Outlawz members!

I used an adorable clear stamp from Wild Rose Studio  called Get Well Toby.
I just adore this little stamp!

Toby:  E35, E32, E30,  R20, Colorless Blender
Crutches:  C7, C5, C3, C1, E8
Bandages:  W0, W1
Floor:  W3, W1, W0
Background:  B000-, B000, R000, Copic Opaque White Ink

Tip:   Cut the designer paper to create the upper mat.  Make a frame  from  the designer paper with a Nestabilities die that is larger than the focal image.   The remainder of the die cut can be used
as a mat for another image.   Who doesn't want to stretch their supplies as far as they can!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.   I will be back with a new card I created
for Marker Pop soon!

Approved By An Independent Lab

Hello everyone!   We all know how important it is to have a quality assurance program!   Well I happen to have my own "Independent Lab" that approves all my work.   He has quite an appetite so I can't say he is on minimum wages.

The Meaning of Rescue
Now that I'm home, bathed, settled and fed,
All nicely tucked into my warm new bed.
I'd like to open my baggage,
Lest I forget,
There is so much to carry -
So much to regret.   Hmmmm ...

Yes, there it is, right on the top,
Let's unpack Loneliness, heartache and Loss,
And there by my bed hides Fear and Shame.
As I look on these things I tried so hard to leave -
I still have to unpack my baggage called Pain.

I loved them, the others, the ones who left me,
But I wasn't good enough - for they didn't want me.
Will you add to my baggage?
Or will you help me unpack?
Or will you just look at my things -
And take me right back?

Do you have the time to help me unpack?
To put away my baggage,
And never repack?
I pray that you do - I'm so tired you see,
But I do come with baggage -
Will you still want me?

Marker Pop: Sticky Note Holder

Aloha!   Marie here from sunny Hawaii!   I am on a little R&R but wanted to post a 3-D project I created for my Marker Pop Design Team project before leaving the mainland.

I used an image from Wild Rose Studio.  They  have many new and adorable images available. Check out the wonderful Christmas Holiday images that are now available!   I can hardly wait to get my hands on these adorable clear stamps!   Take a look at some of the little Bella stamps HERE.

The Post-It note holder I created makes a quick and easy gift that your special friends and family are sure to love.   Notes come in different sizes so measure your sticky note packet, double the length, add  1/2 inch for the spine of the the cover.  Now add 1/2 inch for the total width and  length to allow for a border.  The actual  dimensions of my project can be found on our Marker Pop Blog HERE.

.

This is the inside view of the cover.

Tear off the protective back of the sticky note.   Adhere to the inside of your cover. Additional adhesive can be applied  to the back page if you prefer.

Any colored image can be used to embellish the front of your project. Take a look at some of the Wild Rose Studio Holiday images and image all the wonderful, quick and easy Holiday gifts you can create for those special friends.
