Hello and welcome!
Marie here with a card to share with you today at Paper Temptress!    I am using one of the new releases by Sherri Baldy and some super  gorgeous paper from Paper Temptress.     I hope you like this!
pt061515b

I printed this super cute  digi image - Big Eye, Big Head Besties img613 on my new favorite paper - X-Press It.   This paper loves alcohol ink markers.  The markers just guide on super smooth and it makes blending a breeze!     If you haven't tried it - you are in for a big treat.  Check it out!  I used pink and blue colored pencils to add a little interest to my background.   Hum -   Colored pencils work great too on  X-Press It!    :D

My image was colored used Copic Sketch Markers.
Skin Tones:  E000, E00, E11, E21, R20
Clothing:  BV 0000, BV000, BV000, BV01, BV04, BV14
Hearts:   R20, R22, R24
Rose:  Y11, Y13, YR23,  G40, G43, G46
Mushrooms:  E40, E42, E44, E46
Grass: G40, G43, G46, Colorless Blender

pt061515c

The flowers were cut using Neenah Solar White paper.
It is smooth and I used the lighter weight - The 65# paper is perfect for molding  the flowers.
The flowers were cut from "Small Gardenia Die" from Cheery Lynn Designs die and
sponged the with Squeezed Lemonade and Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.

I used Spearmint by Pop Tones  for the leaves.
They  were stamped with the Open Leaves stamp set  and cut with Classic Leaf Die from Heartfelt Creations.
I sponged the edges with Bundled Sage and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
I gave the flowers and leaves a quick spray of Glitter Dust.   (This is in an aerosol can.)

I used Sherri Baldy's My Besties Vintage Violet for my designer paper.

The mat layer is a gorgeous deep blue violet   color from BASIS 80# called "Purple".

The card base was created from my all time favorite - Heavenly White 120#.
It is firm and hold up perfectly for a card base :)
