Coloring Longer Fur: Spring Bunnies by Wild Rose Studios

Hello to our wonderful crafting community!   

 Marie here with another mini tutorial for you.

For those of us that LOVE bunnies - it doesn't have to be a stamp reserved for Easter.   There are so  many different occasions to use these sweet images!  The one I am sharing today is by Wild Rose Studio and called Spring Bunnies.    I love the softness of their fur and their sweet faces.   Together, they make it one of my favorite Springtime stamps.

Dimensional Coloring: Eggstra Special Easter

Marie here with another card and video for you today.
I really loved the stamp set by Lawn Fawn that I used last week so I decided to use another stamp in the same set for today!

I thought it would be a good time to re-visit some basic coloring techniques.

Sherri Baldy's My Besties DT on FB - Swimsuit Cutie

I want to share a new card I created for Sherri Baldy's My Besties DT on  FaceBook!  

 I has do much fun creating this card.   

I had so much fun creating this card!   The focal image with colored on X-Press It Blending Card using Copic Alcohol Ink markers. I added hearts from a heart stencil from Recollections. .

This is one of the new  releases from Sherri Baldy....   Swimsuit Cutie - My Besties .

I have been playing around with mixed media and used Sherri's new  Craft with Sherri Baldy and The Besties Paper Pack and it is Pink! Pink! Pink!   I love this paper pack.     

I applied some Gesso in the area around where I was going to place the focal image in order to prep the paper.    I then applied some cheesecloth  with modge podge.   

the cheesecloth and area Gesso  was sprayed with some rose colored 

colored  spritzer.   

I embellished with some  gorgeous flowers.   

I hand cut the leaves.  

Sea shells ere added to coordinate with the theme.

The Tilda image by Magnolia was colored with Copic Markers on

 X-Press It Blending Card.  I just love this paper!
It is so smooth and you Copics just glide.
I adhered the JellyBean Green Pop Tones , Banana Split Pop Tones and Grape Jelly Pop Tones  on a piece of white cardstock and then ran it through my Big Kick using "Lattice"  Embossing folder by Life Style Crafts.   I don't know why, but I think this embossing folder looks so much like Spring!
Don't you just love how the Pop Tones 65# paper picks up the embossed impression?

A Breath of Spring!

There is still a nip in the air so I thought I would create a card with a 

Spring theme to remind us.... it won't be far away!   

Sunshine, flowers and the sweet breath of Spring! 

I used the background that I created with alcohol ink last week.     

I thought it would make a gorgeous egg 

with the beautiful die from Poppy Stamps called Ribbon and Bow Egg.

You're No Bunny Til Some Bunny Loves You!

Hello and welcome!

Marie here with a card I created to help us get in the mood for Spring,
sunshine and Chocolate Easter Eggs!As you know... I am a chocoholic!   

 

I know it can be a very busy time of year so I thought a simple, easy to create card would  be in order.

I used 120# Heavenly White cardstock for the base card.  It is firm, white and a very smooth finish.
I really like the fact that it holds up well as a card base and it holds it's shape!
That is one of the important things to me when selecting a card base.

The  base layers and focal image are from Pop Tones and it's Jellybean Green  100#.
It worked really well with the Cottage Cutz die I used.

The bright and beautiful yellow layer is also from PopTones and it's 100# weight called Lemondrop.  

It's super easy and it makes such a pretty Easter or Spring card!
Now all we need is the chocolate bunnies and jelly beans!

If you plan to do a lot of airbrushing,   a compress or and ABS N1 kit is the way to go!

If you just want to try airbrushing before jumping into a larger system or you need a really portable system without much fuss, use the ABS-2. Uses Aircan D60, which hooks directly into the air grip
Great for a trial.   Air cans are not the way to go if you want to do a lot of airbrushing!
