Heartfelt Creations - A Warm Winter's Eve

Welcome!

It's Inspiration Wednesday for heartfelt Creations!   This month is featuring the Winter's Eve Collection.    I love this collection and the warm, festive feel that comes over me when I look in the window!    I couldn't resist adding the Blazing Poppy flowers for a little "POP".

Kraft cardstock, X-Press It Blending Cardstock, heat tool glue gun, Copic Alcohol Ink Markers (Candle -  R81, R85, R89, T2, Flame - E47, E35, Y02, Berries - R30, R35, R39, Leaves - YG11, YG45, G28 G46), White gel pen, Clear Crackle Paint, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, double sided tape.

Create a top fold 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch white card base. Cut a base layer from kraft cardstock at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.   Select the designer paper as shown and cut at 5 x 5 inches.   Apply Clear Crackle paint to designer paper on left side of the paper, sprinkle with frosting powder and heat set.  Apply Designer Dries Clear on the left side of designer paper and apply Teal Gala Glitz. Allow to dry.   Adhere the layers to the card base with double sided tape.

Stamp window frame and candle with Memento Desert Sand Ink.   I used X-Press Blending Cardstock for the candle because I colored it with Copic Markers and designer paper from the Winter's Eve Paper Collection for the window frame.   The window frame was sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.   The light yellow green designer paper was selected to back the window frame.  It was sponged with Vintage Photo.    The Candle was colored with the following color combo - ((Candle -  R81, R85, R89, T2, Flame - E47, E35, Y02, Berries - R30, R35, R39, Leaves - YG11, YG45, G28 G46).   The holly leaves were  accented with a white gel pen.   The images were cut with the coordinating die.

The Blazing Poppy Petals Stamp Set  was stamped on white cardstock with Rhubarb Stalk  Memento Ink.   The flowers were die cut with the coordinating die.   The petals were sponged with Berrylicious Fluid Chalk Ink, misted with water and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit,  They were assembled using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive.  Power Outage Prills were applied to the center of each Poppy.    The Classic Leaf stamp set was stamped with Guacamole Fluid Chalk Ink and die cut with coordinating die.   the petals were sponged with Guacamole, Chambray and a small amount  of Berrylicious Fluid Chalk Ink.  The petals were shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and allowed to dry.   Clear Crackle Paint was applied to the leaves and dusted with Frosting Powder.  The leaves were heat set.

Die cut the Decorative Medallion from white cardstock.    Place clear cardstock under the window frame.   Pop the frame up from the yellow-green designer paper with Darice foam strips.  Adhere the window to the card  on top of the medallion as shown.  Adhere the leaves and flowers with a glue gun.

Embellish with with various sized dots from a white gel pen to look like snow. Apply more dots in the upper corners with the  white gel pen.
