Winter Wonderland

Today I want to share a challenge at The Ourlawz: Twisted Thursday.   It will run for one week and end on Wednesday, November 20th.    Our challenge is always Anything Goes - and the optional twist (for an extra chance to win) is to create a "shape Card'.   You can use any shaped card other than square or rectangle.     Remember - the twist is optional :D  Our wonderful sponsor for this week will be Oak Pond Creek.

White 65# card stock  (Recollections) 


Ink:  
Copic Alcohol Ink  Sketch Markers (Copic, Inc)
Memento Tuxedo Black (Tsukineko)
Copic Opaque White Ink (Copic, Inc)
Perfect Pearls Mists - bronze (Ranger)
 

Other:
Adhesive
ScorPal or other scoring board
Embossing machine
Die Cut machine
Die:  Gold Labels Four  - Nestabilities (Spellbinders)
Flourish (Sillhouette)
Paper Trimmer
Flowers
Applicator tip or fine paint brush for Copic Opaque ink
Glitter and clear glue

This is my shape card turned into a rectangle  A-2 card. 


Tip for the Day:  I find that using 65 or 80# card stock allows a deeper impression when embossing and is easier obtain a clean cut from my die plates.  I have not pleased with the results when using 120# cad stock.

  5. Marie, So stunning... Do not be so cheep on your snow, it looks fantastic but you need more... You used the same die cut I did... Background amazing love how it gives the effect of branches coming from the side.
