Winter Wonderland

Hello to all my wonderful Blogger Friends!

Today I want to share a challenge at The Ourlawz: Twisted Thursday.   It will run for one week and end on Wednesday, November 20th.    Our challenge is always Anything Goes - and the optional twist (for an extra chance to win) is to create a "shape Card'.   You can use any shaped card other than square or rectangle.     Remember - the twist is optional :D  Our wonderful sponsor for this week will be Oak Pond Creek.

This is my shape card turned into a rectangle  A-2 card.

Tip for the Day:  I find that using 65 or 80# card stock allows a deeper impression when embossing and is easier obtain a clean cut from my die plates.  I have not pleased with the results when using 120# cad stock.

I am linking my card to the following wonderful challenges:
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

 Hugs, Marie

  1. Your colour choices are spot on for this one Marie. And your colouring is second to none ... what a stunning card.

  2. Fabulous image and background. I like it both ways shaped and the A2 version. Thanks for the great tip for embossing. I'll add that to my tip and trick notebook. Wishing you the best today.

  3. Absolutely stunning. What a fabulous image.

  4. This is just gorgeous. Every time I see one of your cards, I am more convinced of the artistic importance of the background. This one is a true work of art. Love it!

  5. Marie, So stunning... Do not be so cheep on your snow, it looks fantastic but you need more... You used the same die cut I did... Background amazing love how it gives the effect of branches coming from the side.
    Hugs, have super day....

  6. Gorgeous shape and detailing. And I love the reindeer!
