Hello! Today I am featuring the stamp Edwin With Durby hat by Magnolia at our MarkerPOP Blog. I have been dying to pair my Edwin stamp up with My Favorite Things Die-namics – At the Movies ever since they arrived in the mail! It is a busy time of gift giving so I decided to create a simple tag for you today. Who can’t use tags? I know I can. I never have enough tags during the Holiday season!
I wanted to deck Edwin out in a blue grey suit for his big night out on the town!
Copic Sketch Markers:

I Sponged the background using Tim Holtz Distress ink Vintage Photo, Squeezed Lemonade, Antique Linen, and Wild Honey.
This is a close up of some of the accessories I cut fromt he die set. I used Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink to create a worn look of old metal. The ticket was sponged with Tim Holtz Distress ink Vintage Photo and the pop corn bag was stamped with Fired Brick Distress Ink with the edges sponged with Vintage Photo.n
A little bow created from Brown Sugar Baker’s Twine finishes this tag!
I am linking this tag with the following challenges:
- Make It Monday - Anything Goes
- A Creative Romance - Vintage Style
I hope you enjoyed this inspirational tag. It’s fun! It’s quick! It’s easy to do!
This is such a cute die set! And your adorable tag and wonderful coloring are so great! You've inspired me to buy this die now, lol. You really did a great job! Thanks so much for sharing it with us at MIM.
