Happy Saturday

Happy Saturday everyone!     I am back with a card I created for my DT Totally Gorjuss Challenge.    Our chalenge for this week is to use die and/or punches!   Our wonderful sponsor is Hether's hobby Haven.    Check it out!      The challenge just started so  you have a week to get something going!   LOL

I used an image that I got as a gift from my Cardmaking magazine subscription called The country Diary of an Edwardian Lady.    I just love these flowers and thought it would be a great opportunity to try it out with my new background technique.

Techniques:
Copic alcohol ink makers
Watercolor background
Punch flowers.
Embossing with sponging around edges.

This is a variation of the Gardenia Strip die.
I ony used two of the petals to create a smaller flower that would fit with my card.

This is the finished card.
I hope you ike the background!   I am always trying to come up iwth something new!

I am linking this card with the following wonderful challenges:
  • Totally Gorjuss - Die and/or Punches
  • Make It Monday - Anything Goes
  • Through The Craftroom Door - Anything Goes
Inspiration for the Day:

That's it for today... but I have anothre fun challenge that will be coming up to share with you and some very exciting news the furst of the week!   YEAH!!!!

  5. It's such an elegant card, and I love how the colors blend together on the background. The die cut flower matches those of your image perfectly and also adds some dimension to your card. Beautiful!
