Hello and I hope you are having a great weekend! It is "Anything But A Card Saturday" at our MarkerPOP blog. .
I want to share a project I created using a new die that I just received from MarkerPOP.
My Favorite Things Die-namic - Mini Doily Circles has quickly jumped to the top of my favorite list!
They are small and fit perfectly on cards, 3-D projects or embelish scrapbook pages.
The box was cut from my Cameo using the template "Gable Box" from Silhouette.
This is a little glimpse at the wonderful designer paper I used Called Wimsy Romance from Whimsy Stamps.
The layers are applied. The box is actually dark "pink" but it looks red in the pictures.
I backed the designer paper on 120# white card stock to allow the design to "pop"
These are the adorable Die-namic Mini Doily circles. Aren't they just the cutest!
They are the perfect size for cards and 3-D projects. They would make wonderful mats for sentiments.
Tip: They are very intricate and in order to avoid "weeding" place wax paper between the die and your card stock before cutting.

This is my finished treat box.
I plan to make 100 of these for easter in yellow, lavender, pink, rose, blue and green.

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet creation, Marie. Love those new dies and thanks for the "weeding" tip. I tried it the other day but it did not work for me. But I guess if I had put the waxed paper between the cardstock and the die, instead of between the cardstock and cutting plate, maybe it would have worked ... DOH!!!!!
ReplyDeleteMarie, this is totally awesome and cute, cute, cute. I love it!
ReplyDeleteTerrific box and love the doily die Marie. Thanks for joining us at Make It Monday!
