Getting Ready for the Holidays

Hello to all my friends out there in cyber-land!   I want to show you a card I created for the Twisted Thursday challenge at the Outlawz!    The theme for this week is always Anything goes but the '"twist" for the week is Christmas Shopping. If you choose  to use the "twist" in your project, your name will go in for an extra chance to win the prize!  :D

We have some wonderful prizes from Anne Fenton and MarkerPop!   Hop on over and read all aobut it!   Yikes - I sound like I am selling newspapers on a street corner!  LOL

I used this wonderful image from Saturated Canary called Christmas Nutcracker.  I love doing hair on all the Saturated Canary images that Krista designs.

I am linking this card with the following challenges.

It's late for me!  Just finished a  12 1/2 hour day in the ED and that makes for 14 1/2 hr day with my commute.   I am too pooped to putt!    I hope you stop by Friday and see our wonderful Blog Hop with CMC!      Take care, my friends!

Tina Wenke Blog Hop: A Christmas Wreath

A BIG hello and I hope you are having a terrific Tuesday!

Today MarkerPop is teaming up with artist and designer Tina Wenke to bring you a fabulous day of Tina Wenke inspired Christmas projects.
If you haven't heard of Tina Wenke, here is a little info about her. Tina is an artist and designer who enjoys crafting, too. Her artwork and designs can be found on many different products like greeting cards, stationery, gifts, and of course stamps and paper crafting!  Tina's work is beautiful & MarkerPop is so happy to be carrying her stamp designs (by Stampavie) & Tina also has a gorgeous line of patterned papers available at her online store.
We are so lucky to be hopping with Tina's products today. Each designer will share beautiful inspiration using Tina Wenke stamps & papers.  Make sure to hop along the designer list & see what everyone created today.

I feel so honored to be invited to share in Tina's Blog Hop  and I created this card for the special occasion.   I used the adorable clear stamp called Christmas Wreath with Birdhouse.  This stamp was designed by Tina Wenke and cam be found under Stampavie stamps at MarkerPop.   I also used Tina's fabulous designer paper.   Don't you just love it?!!!
Now, let's talk prizes!
Tina Wenke has generously donated a prize of 2 stamps (1 of her Winter designs and 1 Spring design) plus a pack of her Winter Papers & MarkerPop is giving away a $15 gift certificate. One lucky winner will win it all!

I Believe In Santa!

Happy Monday!     I hope you had a great weekend!    There is a "bite" in the air and the fog is coming in thick in the early mornings and evenings.    It makes the work commute a little more challenging but I love this time of year.    i think the time between Halloween and Christmas  is my favorite time of year!

Color Me Creative is having a fun challenge waiting for you.    The theme is to coor a Christmas image in a color that is "nontraditional".    No red-green allowed!   Our sponsor is Digi My World!

I used the digital image called Little Elf from Digi My World for my Holiday card.   I had fun trying to make a Christmas card with violet!  I hope I accompished my task :D
