Purple cardstock, green cardstock, Stonehenge paper for colored pencils. Prismacolor pencils (Mulberry, Dark Purple, Hot Pink, Lemon Yellow, White). mounting tape, gold leaf pen, Versamark, heat tool, Detail Black Embossing Powder, foam mat, ruler.
Create a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 top-fold card from heavy white cardstock. Cut mat layer from white cardstock at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches. Using a ruler, draw lines on all edges with a gold leaf pen. Cut a layer of foam mat at 5 1/4 inches x 5 1/4 inches. Adhere the top layer to the foam mat using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. Adhere the mat to the card base using mounting tape to allow extra dimension.
Stamp the Peony image three times on colored pencil paper using Memento Elderberry ink. Color the images with the following Prismacolor Pencils (Mulberry, Dark Purple, Hot Pink, Lemon Yellow, White). Die cut with the coordinating die. Die cut an additional 3 layers for each peony using dark purple cardstock. Pop each layer up using a small amount of mounting tape in the center. This will add dimension but not allow the mounting tape to show from the side view.
Stamp the leaves on green yardstick using Olive Grove ink. The leaves are from the Large Sweet Peony Set. Die cut with the coordinating die. Sponge the edges using the Olive Grove Inkpad. Gently shape using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.
Stamp the sentiment using the Sweet Lilac Scroll and Notes on white cardstock using Versamark ink. Emboss using Detail Black embossing powder and heat set. Die cut the sentiment and a mat using the Large Basics Circle Die.
Adhere the flowers and sentiment to the top layer using mounting tape.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you love the Sweet Peony Collection as much as I do!
