A Video showing how to shape the Dogwood flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit can find it > https://youtu.be/gI8RqHAt3vE.

  • Create a 5 ½ x 5 ½ inch top-fold card base from heavy white cardstock. Cut two base layers measuring 5 ¼ x 5 ¼ inch from blue cardstock. One will be adhered to the front of the card and reserve the second piece. Cut the map designer paper from the Young At Heart Paper Collection at 5 in. x 5 in. Adhere the layers with Double sided tape. Die cut the center circle using the Eyelet Circle and Basics Small Dies. Cut an eyelet circle, using two nesting die and adhere to the front of the card using Designer Dries clear Adhesive.
  • Stamp the airplane from the Young At Heart Stamp Set. I used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and X-Press It Blending Cardstock because the image was colored with Copic Alcohol Markers (Y11, Y13, Y18, Yr24, B20, B21, B24, B26, B29). Die cut the airplane and three additional images from blue cardstock. Adhere the layers of the airplane together for added strength using Designer Dries clear adhesive. Apply 3 D Crystal Lacquer to the propeller and the blue trim for shine and added dimension. Adhere to the front of the card as shown with a glue gun.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Classic Cling Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and heat set using white detail embossing powder. Apply to the inside of the card.
  • Stamp the flowers from the Flowering Dogwood Stamp Set using Rouge Fluid ColorBox Chalk Ink. Sponge the center with Ranger Fossilized Amber Ink and the edges of the petals with Rouge ColorBox Fluid Chalk Ink. Stamp the leaves from the Simply Classic Cling Stamp Set and sponge with ColorBox Olive Pastel Ink. Shape the flowers using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and allow to dry. Adhere You Got Me At Yellow Prills in the center using Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. Shape the leaves and adhere around the base of the circle. Adhere the flowers with a glue gun.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
