Ivory cardstock, Dark brown cardstock, medium brown cardstock, stamen, lace, pearls, Clear Crackle Paint, heat tool, glue gun, Copic Markers (W1, W3, W5, E33, E31, E35, E37, E 40, E44, E45, E47, B00), X-Press It Blending Cardstock, 70% alcohol, Q-Tips, mini mister, Misty. Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Heidi Swapp Stencil, Texture Paste, palate knife, denim fabric, Walnut Stain Distress Oxide, hemp twine.
Create a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 top fold card. Cut base mat from dark brown cardstock at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches. Cut light brown mat at 5 x 5 inches. Apply Heidi Swapp Stencil and apply texture paste over light brown mat. Allow to dry.
Stamp angel/tree image with Desert Sand on X-Press It from the Winter's Eve Cling stamp set. Stamp the branches from the Window Box Fillers Stamp set. Color the images with the following monochromatic colors with Copic Alcohol Ink Markers - (W1, W3, W5, E33, E31, E35, E37, E 40, E44, E45, E47 and a touch of B00 on the snowy branches for a little pop of color). The Bokeh background was created with a Q-Tip and 70% alcohol. Tip: Avoid 100% alcohol because it will evaporate too fast to allow the Bokeh effect. The base of the Christmas tree was textured by applying 70% alcohol to a denim piece of fabric. Tear the edges and sponge with Walnut Stain Distress oxide. If I did this again, I would select a lighter brown ink.
Stamp the Poinsettias from the Sparkling Poinsettia collection using Desert Sand Ink. Cut the branches and poinsettias with the coordinating die. The flowers were misted with a mini mister and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. The petals were adhered with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive. Clear Crackle Paint was applied to the petals and sprinkled with Rajni Chawla's Frosting Powder. Heat Set.
Adhere a strip of lace to the right side of the card. The focal image was adhered with clear adhesive. Hemp twine was coiled and tucked under the focal image. The poinsettias and snowy branches were adhered with a glue gun. Pearls were added for embellishment.
Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have a wonderful, safe week!
