Heartfelt Creations- Hibiscus Picnic Basket

Hello and welcome!

The sun has been shining here in Central California with occasional periods of wind blowing through the trees!   Now isn't that a perfect time for a picnic on one of the rolling hills?

When I saw the beautiful Tropical Hibiscus Cling Stamp and Die set from Heartfelt Creations, I knew this would make a perfect embellishment for a little treat to put in the 3-D picnic basket!  I can almost smell the beautiful fragrance!     The die pairs with the stamp so perfectly that there is no need to fussy cutting.

Look at the amazing coordinating designer paper!

Instructions
The picnic basket was cut using  an svg file called Picnic in the Park.   I used 100 lb yellow cardstock for strength.   The layers were cut using Under the Sea Paper Collection.  The basket, layers and handles were easy to assemble and adhered with Art Institute Glue.    A large yellow brad was used to attach each handle to the basket.

The Hibiscus stamp was stamped on X-Press It Blending Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink. Memento is compatible with alcohol ink markers.  The flowers  and leaves were colored with Copic markers used - Y11, Y13, Y17, YR 15, G28, G40, YG62, YG63, YG67, RV000, RV14, RV 17, YR07 YR09, YR18    The flowers and leaves  were spritzed on the back with a mini mister and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  They were assembled and glued with  Art Institute Glue - Clear.    3-D Crystal Lacquer was applied lightly.

The beautiful Hibiscus flowers were glued to the basket with Art Institute Glue and a glue gun.    The only thing to do now is to fill your picnic basket with  amazing treats for that special person!

That's it for now.   Hop on over the Heartfelt Creations and check out all the wonderful May Release stamps, die and designer paper.  Come back soon  and check out my card with the gorgeous jellyfish stamp and die!
