Instructions
The Soap Dish Gift Box measures 6.5” x 3” x 4.7’
I selected cardstock from the Blazing Poppy Paper Collection that had a design that would look great on the inside and outside.   The box was assembled according to the downloadable instructions.  I used the default settings.
The size of the gift box is great for that special gift!

I stamped my Blazing Poppy Petals with my Misty but I love placing it on the red Stamp Mat Pad for added cushion and I then use it for my workspace.     The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink on X-press It paper. Both are compatible with Copic Alcohol Markers.

The image was colored using Copic Markers and Memento Espresso Truffle Dye Ink.
·      R14 to the shadow areas.
·      YR 24 was placed on top of the R14.
·      The image was blended out using YR 16, YR23 and YR20
·      The centers were colored with C7, C4 and C3
·      The edges were sponged using Espresso Truffle Ink.

The Blazing Poppy Petals were cut using the Blazing poppy Die.  The petals were lightly misted with water on the underside and shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.  Using my shaping mat on top of the stamping mat pad gives added cushion.   The petals were set aside to dry.

The gift box was embellished with baby breath and pearls.   The flowers were adhered using my hot glue gun.  A Small amount of Wink of Stella was applied to the highlights to add some shine. I created faux Flower Soft centers for my poppies by rubbing two pieces of Styrofoam together and placing it in a baggie with a few drops of black re-inkers.   I allowed it to dry and adhered it to the center of the flowers with clear art glitter glue.

This makes a wonderful gift box to give to a special person.   I love how the paper coordinates beautifully with the dimensional poppies.
