  1. Oh Marie! I certainly enjoyed that tutorial! I am not very good at shadowing so your information is very helpful. The image and sentiment are just too cute....I will definitely have to get that set. Your video gave me some great pointers for my upcoming Easter cards that I am working on. Thank you for generously sharing your talent and being such a great teacher.

    1. Thank you Lynn for your kind comment. So glad you liked the video... in spite of having laryngitis! LOL Shading can be hard... but there are so many really great tricks that work! I plan to use the same stamp set for next Fridays video on Markerpop. I will be doing the basket and eggs from the same set. It will be a beginner video... we are always getting people new to coloring and so I like to include beginning techniques. It will be dimensional coloring. - The difference with coloring with 1, 2 and three markers. Hope you like it! Hugs, Marie

  2. Marie, Really enjoyed watching your video. You did such a wonderful job with the shadows, that is hard to learn. Hope you are feeling better. Aiden's concert last night was wonderful. At the end they played The Sound of Music and had some singers from the theater their singing the sounds, that was wonderful. He is doing so wonderful.

    1. Hi Jean! Thank you so much for your kind comment! I am so glad you like my tutorial and quilling. You asked what type of card fold.... It is a double gate fold. I initially got mine from splitcoast stampers. I looked all over and I cannot find it LOL I know the wonderful crafter stated she had once found it on Stamping Up. I did find it for you on the web though :) (Big smile)! http://bzbstamper.com/double-gate-fold-card/ This is the same card fold and tutorial and the instructions are gorgeous!!!! I'd love to see it if you create one. I too am fascinated with this fold! Hugs, Maire

    2. You are so kind, Marie, for taking the time to find me a tutorial. I have printed it out and have made a card from it already. You will see it later in April over at The Outlawz :) Hugs, Jean
