You Bring Sunshine to My Day

News!   I have just been selected to be a design team member for  Paper Temptress!  
 I can’t tell you how excited I am  to be a part of this fabulous team! How fun to be invited to play with all the wonderful card stock,  papers and crafting embellishments from Paper Temptress.   Now that is truly a TEMPTATION!
I have been really enjoying the sun as it peeps out from behind the clouds for the past couple of days.   I think that is what inspired me to pull out one of my stamps with a BIG sunflower!  They always remind me of warm and sunny days.
Supplies:Memento Black Tuxedo (Tsukeniko)
Stamp:  Stately Flowers 5 (GKD)
Paper:Cryogen White for my focal image
 JellyBean Green card stock (layering)Designer Paper from my stash.
Ink:Copic Alcohol Ink markers,
Copic Opaque Ink andWatercolors (Ultramarine and Sap Green)
Embellishments:
Butterfly punch and
Flower Soft

Copic Alcohol Ink  Used:
Flower:  Y11, Y15, Y18, YR23, YR24, YR28
Leaves  G40, G85, G94, G99 and YR23
The image was stamped on Cryogen White paper.
This works really well with all types of alcohol in markers.
It is a perfect blend of smooth and yet has a little tooth to grab the color.
The ink I used to stamp the image was Memento Tuxedo Black.
This is a dye ink that is super comparable with your markers and will not run or smear
with your alcohol ink and will not damage or discolor the marker nibs.
A light wash of watercolor was applied to the background. and
a few areas highlighted with Copic Opaque White ink.

    Wow .... another entry to your ever expanding resume of Design Team positions ... congrats girl! This sunflower card is absolutely stunning and really pops against the colours you have chosen for the background.
