I used a hilarious digi from Dr. Digi Hosouse of Stamps called Mobility Malcolm.    I can just see Malcolm breaking all speed limits as he hurries down the cobblestone  path!  LOL

Techniques:

• Fun and whimisical by creating a plad jacket.   
• Age specific skin tones.   (More sallow with bluish cast)   Yep - it happens to all of us! LOL

Thinking of You - Patchwork Pattie

Happy Friday!  

I want to share a card I created using the adorable Sherri Baldy - My Besties stamp called Patchwork Pattie.    I couldn't resist coloring this little cutie for you!  

I used Cryogen paper for my focal image.    Layers are from my paper bin and the designer paper is from Nature Garden (Prima Pack Pad)  

I colored the image using Sketch Copic Markers and Copic Opaque White Ink.  
Skin Tones:  E50, E53, R20
Hair: Y11, Y21, E99
Eyes: E34, B23, B28
Clothing - Top : BV0000, BV00, BV01, BV13, C5
Pants:  B00, B21, B23, C5
Shoes: E99, E34, E30
Grass:  G97, G94, Colorless Blender
Background - Marbleized Technique:  B60, BV0000, BV00, Colorless Blender

When I look at this adorable image, I think of a "Thinking of You " card.  However,   It is super versitile and can be used for so many different types of crds and all your special  projects!    Humm - maybe I should try this on a special treat box!

It's Pumpkin Time for Farmer Joe

Hello everyone.   I am delighted to be able to start posting again.   I have missed everyone!  

Still no definative diagnosis but  the doctor is thinking an autoimmune disease is what may be causing the recurrent inflamation and fibrosis around the lining of my lungs and heart.    It's a waiting game!!!
But for now - pain is at a minumum and I can take fairly good breathes!   Life is good! :D

And now - it's time to share a card I created for The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday.   Our new challenge is to create any kind of fold card!    I love fold cards.   They can really step up a card!

I used one of my favorite autumn stamps for the pumpkin focal image called Signs of Autumn from Gina K Designs.     I used a marbleized technique for my background.   I added grass and I was in business!     

I used the wonderful new stamp called Farmer Joe for the inside focal image.    The stamp is Farmer Joe by Tina Wenke  and can be found at SP & Company.   

  

I used am impressed  background technique to create the landscape and clouds.

Update

Hello to all my wonderful friends!

I just wnat to make a quick update for you.      I vacationed in New York for a Mystery Conference.   During that time, I developed severe  chest pain and difficulty breathing.   I do not remember any of the conference because my oxygen was at a critical low even with high oxygen.

I was admitted to Albany Medical Center.   I had cardio-thorasic surgery and I had fluid in my pericardial sac and pleural space around both lungs.   The pressure was so high it cause high pressure in my pulmonary arterial system and right side of my heart.   The right side of my heart was not working.  

The fluid was drained from around the heart and pleural spaces.   Tissue samples were taken.    The tissues were very inflamed amd swollen.  

I was able to fly back to California this weekend.   (I could kiss the ground if I could get down there!)
I saw my Doctor and she is following up with all the pending test results.   At this time -   the only tests that came back positive seem to be autoimmune.    I will be seeing a rheumatologist within the next few days.  

I just want to know the reason and hope to get it treated.

I am feeling weak and have a hard time writing or trying to hold a Copic marker -    I hope to try to start back on a few of my Design Teams on the 25th.   I cut them in half because I will have enough to do with the three remaining teams and my CMC BAckground class I teach.   I am trying to relax and keep  stress low - that is hard for me to do!   I tend to be Type A!.  LOL  

Please know, I will be back.     Expect to see something around the 25th of this month and I am sorry for th delay in posts!     I am checking homework daily and interacting with my CMC BAckground Classroom -  

This is how my three birds, dog and cat acted when I finally returned home!!!!
