Flowers Flowers, Flowers Everywhere!

Welcome and Happy Friday to you!

It's my turn to post a project and a tutorial for MarkerPop so i am combining the two!   .   It's Saturday and that means it's "Anything But A Card".  Sometimes that is harder to do!   I guess it is an opportunity to turn my Cameo Sihouette on and do some cutting!

I created a treat box using my Cameo and decided to put a gardenia flower on one side and this adorable Tilda image on the other side.   Have you wondered how to POP those Magnolia images up?
I created a quick tutorial for you if you would like to see how I do it.

Gardenia Flowers.  I also altered the center one for a card I needed for a smaller focal image.

I used a Cameo Silhouette to die cut this cute little treat bag.   I think I am going to put some fall seeds in it so it coordinates with my focal image and with the 3-D Gardenia I placed just under the flap.

Close up

I used this adorable Magnolia stamp called Tilda Watering. Isn’t she just the cutest little thing? This wonderful image gave me the opportunity to create a tin bucket with my Copic markers.  One of my favorite things to color is metal.   I love to age it and often add rust or tarnish!   I think I will fill this treat bag with some fall seeds that will coordinates with my focal image.  The image was stamped on Cryogen paper with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (Tsukineko).  I embellished the background with Copic Multilinersand Copic Opaque White Ink.

Pretty in Pink - A New CMC Challenge

Welcome and hello to all my crafty friends!

It's my weekend and I am off from work!  Yeah!     I have some posts I need to do!
I plan to leave for Sacramento this evening to spend some time with great friends.    I plan to take my computer and get caught up on some projects!   I just hate getting behind!

Color Me Creative has a new challenge going.....   "PINK".   Now that is easy peasy!
You can use Copics, ShinHan, Promarkers or colored pencils.    We just want to see your wondeful creations!

I selected an image by Karen Middleton called Rosarna.  I used this same stamp recently for the publication...  Through The Craftroom Door.    I created it in sepia tone.   I decided to color this one up with a very different look     I used black hair and pink and grey.    It is amazing how the same stamp or image can look so different with just a color change.    Maybe I need to look at my closet and see if I can do the same thing for me!  LOL

The Outlawz Twisted Thursday : Make Your Own Embellishments

Hello there and Happy Friday!   Woo Hoo!    Although I am working (hanging my head), I hope you have wonderful plans for a fabulous weekend.

I want to share a fun challenge that is up and running at The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday blog.  Every challenge is an Anything Goes....   But your entry counts as two if you include our "twist".   The twist for this week is to "create your own embellishments".

For my Design Team card, I used a wonderful image by Tina Wenke from SP & Company called Hedgie with Large Bouquet.    I love this little fella!     I colored the image using Copic Alcohol Ink Sketch markers and created my embellishements using pearls and die cut flowers.   I used punch leves and used my McGill molding tools and mat to create the leaves.

I created my own using a faux watercolor technique with Various Ink.

I am entering this card in the following wonderful challenges.
