A Rose is a Rose
Welcome!
I want to share a card I created for our challenge at The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday.
We have a "BINGO" menu for you to choose from this week! That is always fun because you have some choices and we always get some really creative cards! ..
I have been trying to find where I bought this clear stamp. I think it was froun Flourishes and it was called Parrot Rose. I may be wrong because my Google searches did not help. I found everything from roses to parrots but not parrot rose! LOL Anyway, it is one of my favorite images. I first came across this stamp when Theresa Momber used it for one her here posts.... and I am certain she said it was from Flourishes. I quickly ordered it and just love it!
I used copic sketch markers. R20, R22, R24, R27, and R27/C5/R27 sandwich. The green leaves and stem are R20, R40, R45, R28. My background is G40, W0 and Opaque White Ink by Copic. I sponged the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink and dry embossed the side of my mat. The base mat is actually a little darker than the picture.
Join us at The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday for our weekly challenge!
Hugs,
Marie
