Happy Haunting!




Hello everyone!   I hope you are all getting ready for a great Halloween!  

CMC has a new challenge running!    
NEW CHALLENGE #55 will run until Nov 9th!

Your challenge this time is all about

**Anything Goes With a Twist ofOrange**

Color ANY image ANY way you like
but it must have some ORANGE in the image somewhere!!

I used this wonderful image from Louby Loo!  Isn't this just the cutest little pumpkin?

Copic YR 18 was used for my darkest  shadow area.

YR 14 was blended in a flicking motion

YR02 and YR00 was used for the highlight
R20 was used for the mouth  and cheeks.
B26 was applied to the shadow area.


B24 was applied with a flicking motion for my mid-tone.

B21 was used for the highlight.
B28, YG61 and G40 was used for the stem. 

I cut the digital image with my Cameo using the "offset" setting.
I increased the size of the offset for my mat.

Black Cat's and Spiders!

My furniture I won at the auction arrived!   A wonderful cabinet from Germany and bookcase - and .  these wonderful items are going in my art room!    Once i get it organized.... it will be awesome.

I have been playing with my Cameo and this is a little card I created for The Outlaws: Twisted Thursday challenge!    I had a great time experimenting with the different cuts and with resizing the different elements.   I just love the spiders!    The theme is always "anything goes" but for an extra chance to win..... Halloween is the twist!

How Scary!!!

TaDa!

Brrrrrrr it is cold outside!   I know, those in the East problably call me a whimp and they are right! LOL    Since moving from Washing ton to California I have become very acclimated to warm weather!

I used this adorable digital image called Aisha  from Tiddly Inks.       I am currently taking Suzanne Dean's class on "Hair" and used her color combo and technique for coloring this image.    Doesn't she look like she is "styling"? LOL  I realize the hair looks rather "ginger" colored but this particular color combo is listed as "red " hair.

Scaring Up Some Fun!


Happy Saturday!   I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!   I spent the day at an auction in Jackson, CA and purchased a bookcase for all my books and a wonderful chest of drawers from Germany that will hold a tun of craft supplies!  It was called a 6 drawer dove tailed dresser with a sliding door.   Now how is that for a name!     It was my lucky day.    I am always looking for new ways to become more organized so that I can cram more art into each day! LOL!

News:
The Outlawz: Twisted Thursday has a new challenge running.   The challenge  is  always "anything goes" but if you choose to use the twist - your name is entered in the drawing twice!   The twist is to use the "bingo card"





I used this adorable  digital image called Tommy Wizard from The Stamp Fairy.   I have been practicing on my new Cameo and I finally figured out how to cut the image out using the Cameo.  Isn't it just the greatest!!!   I can never fussy cut around images with this kind of precision!   

I colored my images with Copic alcohol ink markers 
and 
placed a large nestabilities die on my designer paper to create a frame
and sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
