CMC Celebrates Summer Blog Hop


Welcome to a  SPECIAL  Color Me Creative Challenge Blog Hop! 

The Design Team has put together some fabulous creations using Saturated Canary’s  digital images to kick-start the CMC Summer Sale! Starting May 25th thru August 24th all CMC Classes will be on sale and bundled classes will be on special too...see the CMC Classroom for more details! It’s a fabulous time to take advantage of classes and once you sign up you get a full year in each of the classes you register for...but you can also buy them now and SAVE them to start this fall...your 1 year term does not start until you sign into a class.

This is my CMC  card I created using an adorable image from Saturated Canary called Zorana.  I get happy just looking at her barefoot little feet  dancing around with her bells ringing!

Skin tones:   E000, E00, E11, R20
Hair: E99, E97, Y21, Y11
Dress: R00, R04, R14/ YG00, YG02, YG63  I added some C5 that I sandwiched in-between my darkest color.
Background: B0000, B000, B00, Dots of R00, YG00 and Copic opaque white ink
Base: B26, B24, B21, B00, B000

Additional Supplies
I punched flowers from Martha Stewart 3:1 Hydranga punch and applied a cream Liquid Pearl (Viva).
Small/Large Petite Nestabilities Die  
Embossing Mat: Intricate Swirls (The Paper Studio)

 She is fun to work with and offers so many wonderful tips, tricks and techniques that make Copics easy and fun. I started taking Copic classes with Suzanne when she first started her on-line classes.  I also attended her Basic and Intermediate/Advanced On The Road classes when she was in San Jose.  She is just one of those very special people that come along once in a lifetime.   She can teach anyone to color beautifully with Copic Markers.   I have learned so much from  her wonderful classes and from serving on her design team !   I am proud to call her "friend".

    Love the bright colors on her dress. On an aside, that kitty pic cracks me up! I've got one hanging over my desk that says, "cubicle kitteh spies on you at work" and has a cat looking over a computer.

    What a beautiful card! I love the clean and decorative design and your coloring is amazing! I still have a lot to learn about coloring, so I'll stick to my water pencils for now, but it's really tempting to try Copic markers too...

    Oh this is such a perfect image for a family friend. She has always said her family was a bunch of gypsies and so that is what she feels she is. That is what I first thought of when I saw it. Thank you for sharing her with us!
