iCopic: Fixing Those Nasty Little Stamping Mistakes

Happy Tuesday to all my wonderful friends!   I am excited to share with you a tutorial I did for  my iCopic Design Team.  I want to demonstrate  a TIP I learned to correct those nasty little stamping errors that can pop up every now and then.   I don't know if this has ever happened to you or not but I have days when I sit down in my crafting room excited to start a new project and...... the first image I stamp comes out unclear or missing some of it's lines.   Sound familiar?   Today I want to show you a tip I picked up from my Copic Classes  with Suzanne Dean.   For this demonstration, I am  using this adorable little image from Some Odd Girl called  Crushin Gwen.

***************************************
Let's take a look at my TIP for Tip Tuesday!

Notice how the image did not get completely inked.

The Copic Multiliners smoothly fix any missed stamping lines or lines that may not come out uniform in color.   The Multiliners come in many different sizes and colors.  When starting my collection, I preferred to start with an 0.03mm and I bought one in back and grey.   I added other colors but these two are very versatile.  See how easy it was?

Copics:   E000, E11

Copics:  G28, YG63, G40

Copics:  E40, E42, E44, E47 and Opaque White Copic Ink

The layers were adhered to the base card.  I created some button hand quilled flowers and used a Memory Box flourish die and some orange rhinestone embellishments.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:

Laugh for the Day

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial on fixing those nasty little stamping errors.    Please stop back soon and......

  • Live each day like it is your last
  • Laugh lik a fool and
  • Be creative!
