Spring is Born!

Pssst! Gina K is celebrating her 2 year blog birthday! I hear there are great happenings tonight!!!! She is also having a fun Color Spotlight challenge at Stamp TV What a beautiful color palate!

I decided to use a beautiful stampset by GKD/Theresa Momber alled "Sending Sunshine".

Technique: Using Copic Markers and Sponging

Personal Challenge: I actually had a challenge trying to figure where to highlight when the fawn was sitting under a tree and it is getting dusk….. I think I will need to still think of this for awhile!!! Hee Hee!

Measurements:
Card Base 5.5 in. X 8.5 in.
Score and fold at 4.25 in. (This makes card for a 2A envelope)
Card Base Layer 4 in. X 5 in.
Top Card Base Layer 3.75 in. X 4.75 in. ( I could have made the base and top base layer longer but I wanted to show more of the white for the purpose of the Spotlight Challenge).
Focal Base Layer Large Petite Oval
Focal Image Layer Large Petiet Oval

Supplies:
Focal Image: Rubber Stamp GKD/Theresa Momber “Sending Sunshine”

Copic Markers:
Tree: E000, E02, E30, E 34, E35, E18, E15, Touch E79, G40, G28, YG63, YG 95 (Wish I would not have used YG 95!) BV0000, BV01, BV11, BV13, Colorless Blender
Fawn: E000, E02, E30, E35, R20
Grass G40, G28, YG 63, YG 95 (I suggest you avoid this one), BV 13 Colorless Blender

Card stock : Cryogen White for focal image, GKD Pure Luxury in White, Wild Dandelion and In the Navy.

Ink : Memento Black, Bahama Blue, Summer Sky, Angel Pink, Cantaloupe and Paris Dusk.

Tools: Scor-Pal or Scor-Buddy, Paper Cutter (I use Fiskars), Scissors (Tim Holtz helps reduce pain for those with arthritis!), Quickie Glue Pen, Adhesive, large sponge daubers, brayer, Cuttlebug or die cutter, Leafy Branch embossing and All Night Media Pop Dots.

Tip: If you have difficulty with arthritis or painful joints, the Tim Holz Scissor really helps reduce discomfort during those long hours of crafing fun! No, I don’t get any commission for plugging his products… I just wish I did! LOL!

I hope you enjoyed this card. Thank you for stopping by`
