Heartfelt Creations - Under the Sea Coral Cling Stamp Set and Die

I alway felt the magic when I go to the Aquarium at Monterey Beach.   I can spend my whole vacation just sitting and watching the jelly fish.   They come in so many wonderful sizes, shapes and colors!   I become mesmerized and it is like magic to me!   I wanted to relate some of that magic feel when I created this card with the translucent effect of the jellyfish.   I will be showcasing the Under the Sea Coral Stamp and Die Set from Heartfelt Creations.

Under the Sea Paper Collection
Deluxe Flower Shaping  Kit
Memento Tuxedo BlackDye Ink Pad
Memento  Danube Blue Dye Ink Pad

Double Dot 3D Foam Circles

Other Products
110 lb. white  cardstock, navy blue layering cardstock,  pearls, blue glitter, die machine, double sided tape, Crystal Stickles, sponge dauber.

Instructions
Card Base - The base was cut at 4 1/4 x 11 inches.  The paper was scored at 5 1/2 inches.  A bone folder was used to make a tight crease at the top fold.  A tip is to place a light piece of paper over the fold before using the bone folder in order to not leave any unwanted marks on your fold.

Card layers - The base layer was cut at 4 x 5 1/4 inches.  The designer paper is from Under the Sea Paper Collection.  I selected a paper that coordinated with the undersea image.  The layer was cut at 3 3/4 x 5 inches.  The edges were sponged with Memento Danue Blue Dye Ink.  Adhere the layers to the card base using double sided tape.

Focal image - The jellyfish image was stamped on X-Press It Blending Card (you can use any Copic compatible paper).   The image was colored with the following Copic alcohol ink markers - B000, B00, B20, B21, B24, B26, RV00, RV01 and colorless blender. The image was lightly spritzed with a water mini mister on the underside to soften the paper fibers.  The jellyfish was shaped with the Deluxe Flower Shaping tool.  Allow the shaped image to dry.

Sentiment - The sentiment was cut from the mat section of Under the Sea Paper Collection.   The sentiment was applied to the upper part of the card.

The jellyfish was applied to the card using Double 3-D Dots.  Glue glitter was applied at the base of the card to give the impression of a shiny sea floor covered with shells and pearls.

I hope you enjoyed this card and felt a little of the magic I feel whenever I have an opportunity to visit an  aquarium that has gorgeous jellyfish on display~

I hope you stop by and visit Heartfelt Creations and check out their Underwater Sea May Collection! Come back soon because we have our new June release next week!

    1. Hello, my sweet friend! It has been so long since I have had a chance to talk to you. Back on the long week of my work shift. I am off Friday but know you are house hunting. I have spend most of every day last week at Lowes getting estimates and measurements to re-do my kitchen. Wow! Time consuming. I will try to call from work tomorrow. I know you are super busy! Thanks for stopping by! I have some exciting news to share with you! Marie
